'Recycle for Calderdale' promotion part of national campaign

‘Recycle for Calderdale' is part of the national campaign to promote recycling, which includes television advertising over the Christmas and New Year period.

The Possibilities Are Endless

The TV advert shows how the things you recycle can be transformed into an amazing array of new products - cans can become cars and glass bottles can be turned into loft insulation.

What you can do

The RecycleNow Website shows you how you can recycle more in all sorts of places: at home, in the garden, at work, at school, at the shops, at leisure.

Our symbol (right)

You'll soon see the symbol on new recycling boxes, bottle banks, collection lorries and maybe even pencils made from recycled vending cups.

Who's running the national campaign?

The Recycle Now campaign has been created and will be run by WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme). WRAP will be working closely with councils and retailers to make sure the recycling message is heard.
