FOCSA Collection

FOCSA Service (UK) will be providing a recycling collection service for up to 57,000 households in parts of Calderdale ( see map ). Recycling collections are provided in other areas by Kerbside (Calderdale)

The new Calderdale recycling scheme is specifically for the collection of paper and glass from domestic households. Instead of throwing paper, bottles and jars into your black rubbish bag, just place them in the bag and box supplied.

What we collect in the green bag

The green bag is for the collection of newspapers and magazines. This includes glossy pamphlets, leaflets, daily, weekly and monthly publications, light card, directories, photocopy paper, junk mail and envelopes.

Please remove any plastic packaging from the magazines before depositing them in the green bag. Do not place any other materials in the green bag.

What we collect in the box

The plastic box is for the collection of clean glass bottles and jars only. You can put any kind of empty bottle or jar into it regardless of its colour.

Please do not put broken glass or Pyrex glass into the box.

Focsa Services will collect paper from your green reusable bag and glass from your plastic box once every two weeks. You should put your box and your green bag immediately adjacent to the pavement at the front of your property. Collections start at 8 a.m. so please ensure that your recyclables are out before that time.
